If I plug an outlet strip into a surge protector, will all of its outlets (including the RJ-11) be protected?
The outlets are protected but the RJ-11 will not be.
The surge protector protects the strip from outside voltage spikes.
The phone line going into the strip then out will still pass thru line spikes.
