is it safe to keep the UPS inside the personnel’s office in a data center?From where the UPS gets power towork
is it a switchboard to which the UPS is connected?
if so how can i place a small UPS that powers a particular rack? how to determine the number of PDU’s required for a rack
It depends on the batteries present in UPS. It there is drycell Batteries then u can keep it inside your room but if there is liquid batteries in UPS i would suggest you put it in a airy place or atleast at a place where a proper ventilation is present.
As far as Power of UPS is concerned, you have to charge batteries from a wall socket. once batteries are charged you can use UPS with plugging it into wall socket.
